What a disaster! A two-year-old was run over by his father’s car on Alte Poststrasse in Graz on Saturday morning. The child is in mortal danger.
The absolute horror of all parents became reality for a 36-year-old and his companion on Saturday morning in Graz: the man wanted to leave with his two children and asked the mother to dress the children. In the meantime, he wanted to exchange the car for the single-family house on Alte Poststrasse so that he could continue.
Climbed over fence?
The two-year-old stepped out of the house undetected and even overcame an additional fence between the house and the parking lot. Suddenly, noticing a “rumble,” the 36-year-old got out and discovered his own child had been run over by the right front tire.
All measures have been initiated immediately. The child was taken to the children’s clinic by the emergency doctor to the LKH Graz. The boy is currently fighting for his life. His family is being cared for by the crisis intervention team.
