A woman was very lucky after an accident on Saturday night. Quick help could have saved her life.
At around 2:30 am, the driver was driving her car on the B54 when she left the road at the entrance to Kaindorf, drove up a slope and crashed head-on into a garden wall.
The wrecked vehicle lay on its side and started to burn. The woman was unable to free herself from the wreckage.
Quick help
But help was quickly available: a resident and a firefighter pulled the driver from the car and immediately started extinguishing the fire.
The Kaindorf volunteer fire brigade arrived a little later with a total of 27 men and spent about an hour cleaning up.
