This movement, which unites citizens in European countries, has a name, WeMove, and in turn, on many other scales, is a roadmap that many citizens take as a basis for building forces from other groups and initiatives.

Citizens in search of change

Citizens’ gatherings can be a useful tool for turning popular opinion into concrete actions. The formula is already being used in other countries such as Sweden, France, the United Kingdom or Scotland to find a solution to the climate crisis and which was first launched in Spain in late 2021 with the Climate Citizens Assembly.
