A drunk retiree, who had just parked his car in Upper Austria, fell after getting off a moped, which then also fell on a car. The 70-year-old was injured, but then simply fled the scene of the accident. An observant witness alerted the police.
A 70-year-old drove his car into a parking lot in Neuhofen an der Krems at 10 p.m. on Saturday. He was observed by a woman. According to police, the retiree needed several parking attempts and eventually walked to the passenger side. On the way there, the man suddenly fell and crashed into a moped parked in the adjacent parking lot.

But that wasn’t all: the two-wheeler then tipped over on a car parked in the nearest parking lot. The motorcycle and car sustained minor damage. The 70-year-old was initially slightly injured next to the moped. But he got up and unabashedly left the parking lot.

The witness alerted the police. During the on-site interrogation, the pensioner suddenly reappeared and confessed to all the cases. An on-site alcohol test was positive. The 70-year-old had to surrender his driver’s license.
