A plane of the Tanzanian airline Precision Airline crashed into Lake Victoria on Sunday morning. According to initial information, there were no deaths. At least 26 people on board were injured and taken to a nearby hospital.
A total of 43 people were on the Tanzanian plane at the time of the crash. It was on the approach to the town of Bukoba on Lake Victoria, the director of the Tanzanian aviation authority TCAA said. The machine was hit by heavy rain and thick fog, rescuers said.
