With 1.3 per mille, an alcoholic driver got lost in his car in the Baden Kurpark. When the car got stuck in a narrow passage, the drunk fell asleep at the wheel. Until a hiker sounded the alarm the next morning. The man has filed a report.
A hiker couldn’t believe her eyes: when she was taking a walk through the Kurpark in Baden in the morning, a car suddenly blocked her way. The vehicle was trapped in a narrow passage between the rock face and the railing. The woman immediately called the police.
When the officers approached the car, they were surprised. The driver was still behind the wheel – and asleep. After a wild odyssey through the Kurpark, it must have been the end of the bottleneck for him. The man is said to have tried unsuccessfully several times to free himself and the car. A breath analysis showed 1.3 per thousand.
The recovery of the vehicle was also a challenge for the fire service: “Due to its narrowness, a special vehicle was used. Concrete posts and balustrades had to be removed first. The car was pulled back bit by bit with a cable winch,” said a comrade.
