The residents of a house in Alberschwende in Vorarlberg were in for an unpleasant surprise on Monday evening, because a sudden bang made them all get going. Cause of the malfunction: A 19-year-old had collided with the house with his car.
The young man (19) was on the L 200 in Alberschwende Monday evening at 7 p.m. when he drifted off the road and crashed into a residential building on the side of the road. The driver may have fallen asleep at the wheel shortly before.

The man was injured to an unknown extent as a result of the impact and was taken to Dornbirn Hospital. Eight people were in the home at the time of the accident. They were shocked, but luckily no one was injured. Significant damage was done to the house.
