On November 16, the company Statkraft answers the doubts of the residents of Aramaio (Álava) about the Itsaraz wind project that would be located between Aramaio and Eskoriatza with a capacity of 60.4 megawatts (MW) of power.
The meeting will take place from 6 p.m. in the House of Culture. In addition to those responsible for the company, Mayor Lierni Altuna and Deputy Mayor Iban Herrarte will also participate.
After the presentation of the Norwegian company itself, the Itsaraz wind project will be announced, which is still at a very early stage of its development, as the company reported in a note.
The Statkraft team, the mayor Lierni Altuna and the deputy mayor Iban Herrarte, will try to allay “the doubts and concerns” of the residents. Its production could provide the average annual consumption of about 44,000 households.
In addition to the Itsaraz Park, Statkraft plans to build another facility between the municipalities of Azpeitia, Errezil and Zestoa, with a capacity of 33 MW.
