Brutal sex crime in the Tyrolean town of Schwaz: A young woman was followed by an initially unknown man after visiting a local shop, then assaulted and raped in a nearby parking lot. The police were able to find a suspect (25). He is now in custody.
The brutal sexual act had already taken place in the early morning hours on Saturday. The victim had previously been harassed by the initially unknown person in the restaurant. When the woman finally wanted to go home around 5 a.m., she was followed by the man. And then it happened!
Desperately cried out for help
„In a parking lot near the restaurant, the woman was hit by a car, beaten and, of course, raped by the perpetrator, “said the detectives. The victim struggled fiercely and desperately screamed for help. “Passersby immediately ran towards it and the sex offender fled,” police said. The victim was hospitalized with injuries.
Suspect (25) arrested
A search for the perpetrator initially turned up nothing. After extensive investigation, the police have now succeeded in designating a 25-year-old local resident as a suspect. He had been arrested. He denied the crime to police. He refused to testify before the investigating judge, according to the prosecutor’s office at the request of “Krone”.
The alleged perpetrator has since been taken into custody.
