Because she did not want to give a beggar money, a 71-year-old woman was hit by a car in front of Rankweil train station in Vorarlberg on Sunday afternoon. Police are looking for witnesses to the incident.
The 71-year-old woman was approached by a beggar at 3 p.m. on Sunday at the bus station in front of Rankweil train station and begged for money. After the elderly woman indicated to the woman that she had no cash on her, the beggar became aggressive.
Corpulent with white anorak
She hit the woman on the chest with both hands, causing the older woman to fall and injure herself. The victim stated that the perpetrator was obese and wore a white anorak. Police are asking for information from the public.
