The two girls – eleven and 14 years old – who were allegedly raped last Thursday by two young men in an apartment in Vienna-Meidling, were placed in a residential care center of the Vienna Youth Welfare Office (MA11). A spokeswoman for MA11 said this on request on Monday. An investigation is underway to determine whether supervision has been violated.
The two victims are currently being intensively cared for there. A 17 and an 18-year-old are suspected of abusing the child and young person. According to detectives, the girls went to the 18-year-old’s apartment on Thursday afternoon to buy drugs. The 17-year-old was there when the attacks took place.
Brutally raped and severely sexually assaulted
Initially, the 14-year-old and the 17-year-old had sex voluntarily, but then the boy forced the girl into further sexual acts. Meanwhile, the 11-year-old was brutally raped and severely sexually assaulted by the 18-year-old. The girls managed to escape from the apartment and call the police. According to the management, the men were arrested a short time later in the apartment.
The 17-year-old was on trial on suspicion of violating sexual self-determination. He has already been released from prison. The 18-year-old Iraqi was arrested on suspicion of rape and serious sexual abuse of minors.
