You can lose your appetite: Midway through this week, Annika M. and her mother made a pilgrimage to McDonald’s on Breitenleer Straße in Donaustadt after a school event for a little refreshment. The order, a classic – two cheeseburgers and small fries to go.
But the first grab in the “Mäci bag” caused quite a disgusting alarm. In between the snacks, the severed finger of a blue disposable glove suddenly appeared. “Besides being very horrible, the staff weren’t really impressed at first and wanted to kick us off with a coffee ticket,” says Annika’s mother Ines M.
“At first I even thought it was a condom,” says Ines M. Things have now returned somewhat and the manager of the affected branch is in contact with the family.
Fast food chain apologized
McDonald’s deeply regrets the outage. How this came about is now being investigated internally. Fortunately, according to initial findings, the “rubber finger” only slipped into the bag during the packaging process, but not during the manufacturing process. Anyway meal!
