Three suspected shoplifters in Lower Austria have been quite “busy”. The men are suspected of having robbed two supermarkets in Langenlois. The loot was enormous: 14 shopping bags were filled to the brim.
The three Romanians, aged 34, 35 and 37, were observed by several witnesses after the theft last Tuesday as they got into the car and drove off. In Kirchberg am Wagram (Tulln district), a patrol was able to stop the car.
Stolen goods worth 5000 euros
The police discovered the stolen goods in the trunk – the value of the goods: about 5,000 euros. A total of 14 shopping bags including nuts, chocolate, canned fish and brush heads.
In the course of the investigation, according to the police, the men were assigned two crime scenes, both supermarkets in Langenlois. However, the Romanians did not confess during an initial interrogation. They were taken to Krems prison.
