This was life-threatening for other road users: a heavily drunk truck driver caused dramatic scenes in the Tyrolean Oberland on Saturday. Fortunately, he was eventually stopped.
After a report that a truck had driven over the edge of the road several times on Mötzer Dorfstraße in the direction of the A12, endangering oncoming vehicles, the heavy vehicle was found around 10:55 a.m. in a parking lot on the A12 in Telfs and stopped. The driver, a 41-year-old Ukrainian, was heavily intoxicated.
At least two accident locations
Due to damage to the truck, two “accident locations” could be assigned to the previously completed route. The driver’s license was confiscated and a bond was withheld to secure the administrative criminal proceedings. The 41-year-old is shown.
