Talavera added three points to their locker after winning 1-2 against Unionistas this Saturday at the Nuevo Estadio Municial del Reina Sofia. The Unionists went into the match with a boosted spirit after winning the last two games of the competition. The most recent was against Racing Ferrol at home (0-1) and the other against Ceuta at home (1-0). Regarding the visiting team, Talavera de la Reina lost 0-2 in the last game they played against Alcorcón and accumulated nine consecutive defeats in the competition. Due to this result, the Toledo team was in nineteenth place, while the Unionistas were in twelfth place at the end of the match.
