Animal shelter cat “Sky” has not only found an ideal home with Philipp Mödritscher from Klagenfurt, she is also everywhere with her canine friend – walking, traveling, on the water.
She must have met quite a few mountain fans, the lovely cat lady “Sky”, who has already explored everything from the Gertrusk to the Pasterze to the Mangart with Philipp Mödritscher, Liza and dog friend Myfanwy.
“’Sky’ is very special. We found her at the Tiko. She actually chose us,” says the man from Klagenfurt: “Because ‘Sky’ was very stubborn with other people, but she suddenly had confidence with us.”
Since Mödritscher and his fiancé Liza go on a lot of walks, “Sky” has been taken on trips from an early age, of course secured with a harness and leash – the cat has enjoyed every adventure since then. She also has a special friendship with the labrador “Myfanwy” – so naturally the animal duo attracts a lot of attention when they meet walkers.
“The standard question is always, do those two get along?” smiles Modritscher. Dogs and cats are inseparable, that’s why we only go on vacation together, and when “Sky” is on Philipp’s shoulder, no one is allowed near her.
