Pierre Morgan will return to the screens in his new uncensored show. According to the Daily Star, the 56-year-old has confirmed that his prime-time television show on the new TalkTV channel will begin on April 25.
The host tweeted, “I am delighted to be back now with live TV with a new daily program that aims to eradicate the culture of cancellation that plagues societies all over the world. I also want it to anger all the right people.”
The new Global Show is broadcast on TalkTV in the UK on Sky, Virgin Media, Freeview and Freesat platforms. Uncensored will also air on Fox Nation in the US and Sky News in Australia.
The show has been described as “a fearless forum for lively intellectual discussions and interviews to set an agenda to celebrate freedom of expression and the right of people to share their opinions”. Morgan also sought “final revenge” on his former bosses by stealing six of the channel’s lead producers on ITV to take him to his primetime show.
Fans went to the comments section to share their reactions. Someone said, “I’m watching.
“I love this guy @piersmorgan, he’s a great journalist and a great show host. I really missed a good morning, UK.”
Another said, “We can’t wait for you to come back to the screen and look forward to the topics you’re discussing. Don’t pay attention to Pierce’s negative tweets, let’s watch – I can’t wait.”
However, some were not such a compliment. Someone said, “This guy has no idea.”
Winnie Dunbar Nelson, CEO of Piers Morgan Uncensored said: “The Piers will return to your screens with great fanfare and we promise to host exciting guests, great ideas and inspiring discussions. We can’t wait to get started.”
