Fuel, gas and fuel oil are coveted commodities, especially in times of massive inflation – unfortunately, more and more stolen goods are becoming! Criminals staged a particularly brutal coup d’état in Hall in Tirol – and this recently caused cold feet.
At the beginning of November, the manager of a company in Hall, as usual at this time of year, wanted to turn on the heating. But it just wouldn’t work.
Fuel oil tank completely emptied
“Initially, those responsible assumed that it was a technical defect. After the system was finally checked, it turned out that the fuel oil tank was completely empty,” said the police. Between June and November, unknown perpetrators had unnoticed about 6,000 liters of oil from the tank.
Thousands of euros in damage
According to the researchers, the resulting damage amounts to more than 7,000 euros. Of course, there is no trace of the perpetrators. Further investigation by the police is ongoing.
