A woman who was reported missing in mid-January was found dead on Saturday morning in Stainz (Styria). The woman was 60 years old. The hunters found her body.
Now it is a terrible certainty: the 60-year-old missing woman will not return to her family. Hunters found a female body between a field and a stream in the undergrowth in Pichling near Stainz at around 10:30 am on Saturday.
“As further investigations showed, it was undoubtedly the 60-year-old who had been missing since January 15, 2023 after a local visit,” the police write.
Presumably there was no crime
According to an autopsy, there should be no evidence of third party negligence. It is still unclear how the woman died. Her body was too decomposing to draw any conclusions.
