This weekend, Barakaldo’s BEC celebrates the second phase of the OPE 2018/2019 of Osakidetza. Total, 65,029 people choose one of the 1,314 places offered by the Basque health service In this phase.
Osakidetza will publicly list a total of 3,535 jobs. The OPE is divided into two phases and after the first one developed in June, this second phase is where the tests are carried out for those categories that attract more applicants.
Yesterday they were examined in the Categories Nurse and Administrative Assistant, and this Sunday it’s Celador/a’s turn. Just like the day before, long queues of vehicles have formed to access the BEC.
The Minister of Health, Gotzone Sagardui, at the beginning of the tests, emphasized “the effort of Osakidetza in the organization of this OPE”, which aims to provide more stability to the team. “We are aware that the best Osakidetza are professionals. We want to strengthen and improve their situation,” he assured.
This second phase of the Osakidetza OPE will last until January 29, 2023
Most exams take place in the Las Nieves lecture hall Vitoria-Gasteiz and the rest in the BEC of Barakaldo. The practical exams are taken on the same day as the theory exam, stating the time of completion on the same day.
