One person was injured in an unusual accident on Monday: In Knittelfeld, a tractor collided with a car for reasons that have not yet been fully clarified. The injured driver (20) had to go to hospital.
The collision took place shortly before 07:00: a 67-year-old from the Murtal district was driving on the L504 in Knittelfeld. His tractor collided with a van. The tractor driver was not injured, the driver of the car had to be treated by the Red Cross and was then taken to the state hospital in Judenburg.
Significant material damage was caused to both vehicles and the Knittelfeld fire brigade was busy recovering and binding oil. The road was closed for three hours following the accident.
