A couple in the Hohenweiler Congregation was incredibly lucky. Shortly after midnight, there was a violent explosion at the couple’s house, the house was badly damaged. The explosion was probably caused by gaseous refrigerant from the geothermal heating system escaping into the boiler room.
The occupants of the house, a 43-year-old man and his 52-year-old wife, who were on the top floor of the house at the time, were miraculously unharmed. The house is currently uninhabitable, the couple stayed with relatives. Work is underway to clarify the exact course of the accident.
