The telephones in the Red Cross control room are currently on hold. For unknown reasons, the emergency numbers 144 and 141 fell out. For medical emergencies, call the police emergency number 133. The Red Cross is feverishly searching for the cause.
“We are secured through various channels. But for unknown reasons, our emergency numbers fell off completely on Tuesday morning,” says Melanie Reiter, spokeswoman for the Red Cross in Carinthia. The aid organization is working hard to solve the problem.
In case of emergency, call 133
“If there is a medical emergency, those affected should express their concerns via the police emergency number. We are in constant contact,” says Reiter in the interview with “Krone”.
