In a coup in Radfeld in the Tyrolean district of Kufstein, burglars stole around 10,000 euros and jewelery in mid-November. Now they could be explored. The job comparison on shoes made it possible.
On Friday, November 18, initially unknown perpetrators gained access to a family home in Radfeld. “The suspects were able to steal cash and various valuables. The damage amounts to a low five-figure euro amount,” the police reported at the time.
Another coup at the supermarket
On Monday, the perpetrators struck again. In Münster (Kufstein district) they entered a grocery store by breaking open a patio door. There they stole 25 boxes of cigarettes and about 250 euros in cash. Thanks to the alarm system and a newspaper delivery woman who saw the escape, the crooks – a 40-year-old Italian and a 41-year-old Albanian – were quickly caught.
Trace comparison unmasked perpetrators
As it turned out, both things are related. “During the arrest of the two perpetrators, the officers confiscated a pair of shoes. The trace comparison showed a match with traces secured during the burglary in Radfeld,” the detectives report.
