Serious traffic accident Thursday in Styria: In the Eggenberg district of Graz, a nine-year-old girl was hit by the car of an 82-year-old on the protective path. The child suffered serious injuries.
An 82-year-old from the Graz area drove her car in Peter-Tunner-Gasse towards Alte Poststrasse around 4:30 p.m. At the same time, a family crossed the protective path at 44 Peter-Tunner-Gasse (opposite a supermarket branch).
Girl suffered serious injuries
While the 43-year-old father and his son had already crossed the street, the nine-year-old daughter was still on the protective path. There she was hit by the car. The girl fell and sustained serious injuries, police said. She was admitted to the children’s clinic of the LKH Graz. The driver of the car was not injured.
