That could have ended very badly! Unknown persons probably threw a stone at a car from the Autobahn bridge near Vomperbach on Friday evening. This resulted in a larger hole in the windshield.
At around 9:30 p.m., a 21-year-old was driving his car on the Inntalautobahn towards Kufstein when he suddenly heard a loud bang at Terfens and saw that something had crashed into the windshield of the vehicle. “There was a 5×7 centimeter hole in the driver’s field of vision,” police said.
The police ask for information
The local resident then drove home and filed a complaint with the police station in Schwaz on Saturday. “Due to the course of events and the damage caused, there is a suspicion that one or more unknown persons have thrown a stone from the Vomperbach highway bridge,” emphasizes the management, which is now asking for useful information.
