A Ukrainian was in a particular hurry on the Inntal Autobahn in the Tyrolean lowlands at the weekend. The 39-year-old was measured there at almost 200 km / h in the 100 zone. In the course of the wild frenzy, there were also dangerous scenes. The speed shooter has now lost his driver’s license.
On Sunday afternoon, the Ukrainian drove on the A12 in the lowlands towards Kufstein – and he really stepped on the accelerator. Near Volders (Innsbruck-Land district), the speeder became the target of a civilian police patrol. “At a maximum speed of 100 km/h, the 39-year-old was measured at 198 km/h,” the management reported.
Far too little distance
But that’s not all: the speed gun also endangered other road users by sometimes “massively falling short” of the safety distance to other vehicles. The Ukrainian was eventually withdrawn from circulation.
Driver’s license is gone
The officers confiscated the driver’s license of the 39-year-old on the spot. A provisional deposit was also collected. Appropriate advertisements will follow.
