Spectacular accident late Wednesday evening in Mils near Hall in Tirol: An 18-year-old driver’s license holder on a probationary period went off the road with a borrowed car and fell about ten meters from a steep slope in a wooded area. One of the five occupants was injured.
The accident happened shortly after 11 p.m.: The 18-year-old resident, who had four passengers on board, was driving on Oswald-Milser-Straße when he slipped on a right-hand bend, probably due to the wet road.

The car then went off the road and fell about ten meters into the adjacent forest. “Both the driver’s license holder and his four companions were able to get out of the car on their own and over the steep shoulder back on the road,” the police said.
Injured taken to hospital
One of the occupants, a 17-year-old man, suffered injuries in the accident. After receiving first aid at the scene of the accident, he was taken by ambulance to Halle hospital. “An alcohol test on the driver was negative and there was significant material damage to the car,” the detectives conclude.
