german police dismantled an alleged far-right terrorist organization on Tuesday who planned the capture of the Bundestag and a subsequent coup. A total of 25 far-right activists were arrested in a macro operation that has spread to Germany, Austria and Italy, 22 of which are suspected of joining the aforementioned organization.

The group is said to be ideologically linked to the “Citizens of the Empire”a movement that rejects the legitimacy of the Federal Republic of Germany on the basis of conspiracy theories.

According to the current state of the investigation, the organization consisted of a sort of executive council and an armed wing, according to Attorney General Peter Frank. The aim would thus be “to destroy the constitutional democratic order in Germany by force and military means”.

The council planned to assume the functions of government after the coup and included, among others a former deputy of the far-right Alternative for Germany (AfD) party. that she would become Minister of Justice.

The armed wing included at least three individuals who had been in the past members of the German army (Bundeswehr), one of them a member of the Space Operations Command or KSK who had distinguished himself in the past by encouraging the far-right orientation of numerous troops.

Frank added that some of those detained have already gone to court and pre-trial detention has already been ordered in several cases – including that of the organisation’s suspected leader, whom he identified as Heinrich KR.

According to the German media, the aforementioned leader is the aristocrat Henry XIIIPrince van Reuss, a businessman active in the real estate sector and known for spreading conspiracies and anti-Semitic statements, was arrested at dawn on Wednesday at his home in Frankfurt.

According to the weekly magazine “Der Spiegel”, the group, which started working about a year ago, was a diverse group that included a chef, a pilot, a roofer, a tenor and a doctor, and was advised by two seers .

The prosecutor’s office also stated in a statement that the detainees – all of them with German nationality except for a Russian citizen – had tried to establish contacts with Russian diplomatic representations in Germany, although the Russian embassy in Berlin has denied any connection with the organization.
