The Neutal volunteer fire brigade was called up for an unusual mission on Sunday afternoon. A cat had crawled into the engine compartment of a car and was trapped in such a way that it couldn’t get out.
The car owner noticed the animal’s “cries for help” just in time before he was about to drive away. Nine members of the Neutal volunteer fire brigade came to free the cat from its plight. To get to the animal, some parts had to be unscrewed.
Remained unharmed
In the end we managed to get the little stray cat out of its hiding place above the wheel arch. The frightened animal may have been trapped for some time, but apparently had no injuries. The Florianis then handed over the cat to the concerned owners.
