A large-scale fire brigade operation is currently underway in Inzing in the Tyrolean district of Innsbruck-Land: According to the first information, a fire has broken out in a trading company in the industrial area. Dense smoke can be seen from afar. Residents are asked to keep windows and doors closed for the time being.
The fire brigade from Inzing and the surrounding area was alerted around 9.30 am. According to the control center of Tyrol, a total of nine fire brigades have been deployed. Including Zirl’s, as the following video shows.
Keep windows and doors closed
Due to the strong smoke development, local residents are requested to keep windows and doors closed. This is purely a precautionary measure, according to the emergency services at the scene.
There are no reports of injuries yet. The cause of the fire is also still unclear. The L11 on the Inzing industrial estate is currently closed to all traffic in both directions. Further information is not yet known.
