300 male asylum seekers are billeted in a Frankenburg hall. On Saturday, there was a brawl between Afghans and Syrians involving 40 people. The concern that more will happen is high among the residents. The mayor is calling for a reduction in the number of asylum seekers in the city.
It was apparently the noise deliberately created by the other group of nations that boiled over the emotions of Syrian and Afghan asylum seekers in Frankenburg on Saturday afternoon. Because the Syrians would be rowdy at night and the Afghans would retaliate during the day, about 40 men attacked each other in front of the headquarters in Allied Panels Park. Two Afghans (23, 29) and a Syrian (23) were injured.
