On Monday, 3119 new coronavirus infections were reported in Austria for the previous day. An increase was noted in the number of patients in normal and intensive care units. There were no other deaths related to a corona infection.
An increase of five patients was registered on the normal wards and 1046 corona patients are currently being treated there. The number of intensive care patients also increased by five – a total of 62 are currently being cared for in hospitals.
The data status of the epidemiological reporting system (EMS) related to the corona pandemic in Austria is updated daily at noon on the AGES (Austrian Agency for Health and Food Safety) dashboard. The data reflects what happens between midnight and midnight of the event in question day before wider.
