In an interview with EITB Media’s director of news, Arantza Ruiz (9:45 p.m., on ETB-2), the president of the group assures that both cooperatives knew that Mondragon would oppose the new procedure they proposed.
“The procedure that (Ulma and Orona) asked for was implausible in a short time”. In these conditions, the President of the Mondragon Corporation, Inigo Ucínto the proposal that both co-ops made to the group in June – they proposed to become “agreed co-ops” – which, after being rejected, led to the votes that could lead to their departure from Mondragon.
“It is not possible to post something that touches the waterline. They knew the answer they would get. Another was not possible,” Ucín emphasized in an interview offered to the director of EITB Media News, Arantza Ruiz, in space “12 Minutes” (9:45 p.m., on ETB-2).
Ucín, reiterating his wish for Ulma and Orona to remain in the group, fears no contagion effect within the Corporation. “Today we are busier than before; the union is bigger. Mondragón goes well with them and can do well without them” Hold tight.
According to the group’s president, “A co-op with business problems has never left unless it has a very strong leadership problem.”
