A poacher has been up to mischief in the Tyrolean Paznaun in recent days. The previously unknown perpetrator shot a deer next to a ski slope in the municipality of Ischgl and left it badly injured. A hunter eventually had to rescue the animal.
According to the police, the poacher struck last Thursday or Friday. “The unknown shot near the Velill Valley toward a deer and injured it so badly that the animal had to be put out of its misery by a hunter,” the researchers say.
