Spectacular Saturday morning traffic accident in Innsbruck: Two cars collided near an intersection – one car overturned from the force of the impact. The driver and passenger of this car were injured and had to be taken to hospital.
The accident happened shortly before 10:00 am at the intersection of Schlachthofgasse and Ing.-Etzel-Straße. A motorist (62) may have overlooked the oncoming car of the 41-year-old when turning. There was a violent collision.
With rescue to the clinic
The 41-year-old’s vehicle then flipped over and remained on the passenger side. The driver and his passenger were injured. After first aid at the accident site, the two were taken by ambulance to the Innsbruck clinic.
The 62-year-old apparently escaped unscathed. The damage to both vehicles was extensive.
