In the night of Wednesday there was a hut fire on the Postalm in Strobl (Salzburg). The residents of the house were able to save themselves because an elevator employee sounded the alarm in time.
The volunteer fire brigade of Strobl and Abtenau and the fire brigade of Voglau were alerted at 0.40 am by two lift employees that a hut on the Postalm was on fire. Upon arrival, it was already clear to the emergency services that the people in the home had all survived. An elevator operator woke up the 45-year-old hut tenant and four other people in time.
De Floriani fought the fire in the roof structure with a rotating ladder. The fire was brought under control relatively quickly and the operation was completed at 5:30 in the morning. The cause of the fire is still unclear.
