He’s back! After the police stand-up “Vinzenz” and his colleague from Seeboden were kidnapped, one of the comrades was found again. The community had even put a bounty on his head.
The two “Vinzenz” figures were set up in Seeboden in the autumn to slow down speed demons. But the fake inspectors weren’t on duty for long, and they were quickly stolen by strangers. The municipality responded immediately and offered a finder’s fee of 100 euros.
Tin police saw clean up
Now one of the two inspectors could be returned to the community. The officer was found after the church day in Kamering (municipality of Paternion). The members of Mauthbrücken’s drinking community had discovered the tin police officer during the cleanup and reported to the leader of the Seebodner community.
However, it took a while before the stand could actually go home. Recently tapmaster Florian Duschnig, cashier Adrian Schöffmann and tapwaitress Patricia Meinhard were able to return “Vinzenz” to community leader Thomas Schäfauer, community leader Horst Zwischenberger and inspector Bernd Adenberger. The mayor also kept his promise and handed over the finder’s reward to the drinking community.
However, there is still no trace of the second police station. And the municipality of Seeboden is not the only victim. In the past, “Vinzenz” figures were repeatedly stolen by strangers from different communities.
