Car over the guardrail – Tyrol: Pizza delivery boy gets lost in the snow

Date:

Someone must have been waiting in vain for their Pizza Diavolo: On Friday evening in Tyrolean Zillertal, a 31-year-old delivery driver slipped and went off the road with his car during winter conditions. Fortunately, the car got stuck on the guardrail and thanks to bushes, otherwise the car would have ended up in the river Ziller.

The accident happened around 7:30 p.m. The 31-year-old wanted to deliver a pizza when he lost control of the wheel on the connecting road between Bruck and Hart due to the snowy road and drove into a sloping guardrail.

The car then got stuck on the guardrail. Bushes and trees on the side of the road also kept the vehicle from falling into the adjacent Ziller River.

Delivery man with rescue to hospital
The driver suffered injuries of unknown severity. After first aid at the scene of the accident, he was transported by ambulance to the Schwaz district hospital. The alerted Hart im Zillertal fire service finally secured the vehicle and recovered it with the towing service.
