A visit to a brothel in Wals near Salzburg in July 2022, during which he was forcibly returned the money for the love services, has now resulted in a 33-year-old customer being sentenced to four years in prison. The Romanian was convicted of aggravated theft by the Salzburg court on Tuesday, but the verdict is not yet final.
The 33-year-old is said to have spent the night with a prostitute in a “running house” on July 8. According to the indictment, he gave the woman a total of 4,000 euros for her services. When the woman wanted to leave, he demanded the money back and substantiated his claim with a kitchen knife.
The sex worker tried to snatch the knife from his hand, and both suffered cuts during the scuffle. The suitor then took an ax and suggested hitting the woman with it.
Handy Out of fear, she took the 4,000 euros she had just earned out of her backpack and put it on the table. When she then tried to call the police, the man also snatched her mobile phone and again threatened her with the axe.
The woman then ran away, the Romanian was later arrested and has been detained ever since.
