Volkswagen Navarra will suspend its production on Monday, January 9 and Tuesday, January 10 due to a lack of parts due to the unstable situation in the supply of semiconductors, and thus will not resume operations until January 11. for the Christmas holidays at the factory.
As reported by the company through an announcement to staff, “there will be no production on January 9 and 10”, both of which are considered industrial days, although it has confirmed that “work will be carried out as planned in the three shifts of days 11, 12 and 13” of January.
The closure, the Landaben factory explains, is explained by “the lack of parts caused by the unstable situation in the semiconductor supply”.
