After a 24-year-old from Salzburg was hit by a stranger and left seriously injured, the pressure on the escaped driver is now increasing. Family and friends of the victim have increased the premium for information to 5,000 euros.
A 24-year-old from Flachgau was hit by a car in Köstendorf around 3:15 a.m. last Sunday and was seriously injured. The driver just keeps going. The young man has been in intensive care ever since and there is still no trace of the driver of the accident.
Accident drivers should not be allowed to go unpunished
Family and friends of the injured do not want to accept that the accident driver can escape unscathed. That’s why they looked for clues on social networks early on. Shortly afterwards, they even offered a reward of 1,000 euros for information.
“He should be caught,” says the victim’s brother. That is why the reward for information leading to the arrest of the perpetrator has now been increased to 5,000 euros. “The amount has been raised through friends and family. We just want to know who did it,” explains the injured man’s twin brother. He was about 150 meters away from his brother at the time of the accident, but could not see anything.
After all: according to relatives, the young man is now in any case out of danger. Every police station accepts tips.
