The incident happened around 2:45 p.m. “When moving a pallet with a pallet truck in the basement of the restaurant, a pipe of a CO2 tank was damaged. Because the gas leak could not be stopped immediately, the restaurant was evacuated by the employees and the fire brigade was called.” the police said.
No injuries
The fire brigade managed to get the situation under control quickly and took appropriate measures. About 30 Florianis with ten vehicles were deployed. “No one was injured,” the police said in conclusion.
