Seven police patrols – large-scale manhunt for young newspaper cash thieves

Date:

Seven patrols were deployed to capture two 14 and 15-year-old box office crackers in Traismauer, St. Pölten district. A firearm was previously found with one of the boys, but his accomplice fled. The second offspring was later born by the mother.

Shortly after noon, the two youths were observed to break open a newspaper register. Since the police witness was able to provide a reasonably accurate description and the direction of the escape, the immediate search was at least partially successful. One of the two perpetrators was immediately arrested. A concealed weapon was even found a few feet away from him.

Although the evidence soon turned out to be a blank gun, alarm bells started ringing. So reinforcements were called for the second man who had fled into a forest area.

Simultaneously with the seven-strip search, uniformed officers took a closer look at the 14-year-old’s cell phone. There they found a photo and the cell phone number of the accomplice. You could even reach him by phone. The suspect then came to the police inspection with his shocked mother.

The daring duo was eventually reported multiple times.
