Curious ski accident Thursday in Tyrol! Two sheepdogs knocked down a 22-year-old Dutch woman who was swinging her skis over a slope in the Kitz-Ski-Welt in the municipality of Westendorf. The tourist was seriously injured.
A 50-year-old skier from the Netherlands was on the slopes around 10:30 am with his two German Shepherd dogs. “The animals were tied to a leash tied to the line,” police said.
A case of negligent bodily injury
However, because the leash came loose for an unknown reason, the dogs could no longer be led and ran down the slope without a handler. The four-legged friends ran left and right past the 22-year-old and brought the woman down with the belt. The Dutch woman was injured. Police are now investigating negligent bodily harm.
