Another 37 people were injured when the vehicle fell down a slope, also causing injuries
At least 15 people died this morning, including three minors, and another 37 were injured as a result of a bus accident that occurred in the Mexican state of Jalisco, as reported by that state’s civil protection body.
The bus, owned by a private company, had departed from the town of Los Ayala, in Nayarit, and was heading for the town of León, in Guanajuato. The vehicle left the road for unknown reasons and fell down a hill.
Health workers from the Mexican Red Cross and several emergency services from the area have traveled to the scene of the accident and treated the injured, who have been transferred to various hospitals in nearby towns. Similarly, forensic experts and members of the prosecutor’s office seemed to continue to remove the corpses. The injured have been distributed to various hospitals in the area.
