When the first of two family shows (the next one starts at 9pm) started, the main square was thriving for the first time. For 20 minutes there was a very special spectacle of fire, light, laser and water for young and old. The fountains shot up to 40 meters in front of City Hall, the loudest “Wows!” came from the huge fountains of fire. Here’s a photo gallery.
The mood was good, the mobile phones were constantly in use, the fascinating photos, animations and compelling music created enthusiasm. There was much applause at the end. “Mega”, “fascinating” or “sensational” were heard as comments.
Don’t miss this very special New Year’s Eve spectacle, at 7.30 pm and 10.30 pm “Music around the world” starts and at midnight there is the grand finale with a show of the highest quality.
Admission is free and there are plenty of gastro stands.
So, head downtown and celebrate with us! In any case, we wish you a “Happy New Year”.
