On Friday evening, police in Vienna’s Rudolfsheim-Fünfhaus district were alerted by attentive witnesses after two brothers (19, 24) had a fight following a heated argument.
The tumult on Zeshuizenstraat took place around 12.45 pm. “When police officers from the Tannengasse and Storchengasse inspection stations tried to separate the two, the brothers attacked them with punches and kicks,” said police spokesman Markus Dittrich.

“Both men were arrested with physical violence. During the arrest, one of the two bit the finger of a police officer. A total of three police officers were injured during the operation, the spokesman said.
