They were heavily drunk and very aggressive. A group of young men got into a fight around 4 a.m. on Friday in front of a bar in the district of Schärding (Upper Austria). When the police arrived, they fled to the nearby train track.
Around 4 a.m., after an argument in a nightclub in the Schärding district, a wild scuffle broke out between ten people. When the police patrols arrived, those involved fled towards the tracks, so that the ÖBB emergency coordinator had to close the tracks.
Three perpetrators caught
Two of those involved have been arrested and provisionally detained. Another youth, 18 years old, who was injured in the fight also escaped and was arrested and interrogated at the train station. Part of the group was heavily drunk. The two suspects, aged 17 and 19, were released after questioning. Further investigations are underway.
