Fatal traffic accident Tuesday in the early morning hours in the Tyrolean Ötztal: In Längenfeld, two cars collided head-on in heavy snowfall. The two drivers (aged 28 and 53) sustained serious injuries.
The serious accident happened just before 5:30 am. A 53-year-old resident was driving his car on the B186 Ötztal Straße into the valley when a frontal collision with the car of a Serb (28) occurred in the municipality of Längenfeld.
With rescue to the hospital
Both men suffered serious injuries from the force of the impact. After first aid at the scene of the accident, they were taken by ambulance to Zams Hospital.
It is still unclear exactly how the devastating accident could have happened. In addition to the rescue and emergency doctor, the fire brigade and the police were also present.
